MY ROLE
Founding designer.
My role was to establish a design system that will help us standardize the existing and future designs produced by the platform. Additionally, I was responsible for the end-to-end design of the B2B portal, which consisted of 6+ rounds of user research with clients, initial ideations, and the final, launched portal.

AreaHub was onboarding its first B2B clients.
When I had joined AreaHub, there was a pre-existing experience for personal users: customers were able to get basic assessments regarding their local environment to help them in making any decisions or take precautions. AreaHub also aimed to expand its services to B2B clients. My role here was to lead the end-to-end design process in understanding cusotmer needs, ideate and refine our design direction, and ultimately collaborate with tech to launch the first B2B portal for AreaHub.

Originally, these pages carried many friction points: the home page was text-heavy and visually dense; the pricing page was ambiguous in its differentiation across the different B2C products; and the reports were difficult to digest due to the complexity of the data shown.

The redesign of the pricing plan page allowed users to clearly see what differentiated each of the products offered. This allowed them to confidently select the product that best matched their needs, lowering the chances of user error and subsequent disputes. The home page redesign refined the information architecture and visual patterns, allowing more opportunities for users to engage with the content in a more digestible manner. The reports redesign allowed users to effectively contextualize the various resources AreaHub provided.
