Overview
How can we help developers track service requests?
Maintaining the applications that help Capital One is a burdensome process. Developers scavenge across many platforms to assemble the necessary information for their troubleshooting tasks.

My role
Translating the complexities of this process into a user-friendly interface.
On this project, I was responsible for the end-to-end design of this new tool. I worked closely with our lovely service designer, Jess Ryan, to do user-research and ideate solutions. I translated these initial concepts into a prototype that simulated the new intake process for customers.

Overview
How can we help developers safely move their AWS resources?
Maintaining the applications that help Capital One is a burdensome process. Developers scavenge across many platforms to assemble the necessary information for their troubleshooting tasks. My job here is to simplify: I identify opportunities to help developers tackle risks by designing user-friendly tools, allowing information to be easily located and digested; creating an design system to establish more consistency and standards across internal tools; and enhancing the user experience by refining the information architecture across these platforms.

My role
Design a net-new tool that will help teams track their own progress.
For this project, I was the independent designer responsible for the initial discovery to the final hand-off with our developers. I worked closely with my product partner, Caroline, and our developers to ensure alignment from the beginning all the way through to prototyping. This project is in its final stages of refinement. Check back for details.
